David K. Udall papers, 1847-1988 (bulk 1875-1930)

Biographical information, correspondence, diaries, photographs, and business files relating to his career, his perjury trial, and his family, with the bulk dating from 1875-1930. The main correspondent is his daughter Pearl Udall Nelson. Additional correspondence is from other family members and leaders of the Mormon church. Genealogical and other information about the Udall family is included, up to their presentation comments about these papers to the University of Arizona in 1988. His diaries pertain mostly to his missions to England. Historical information about Saint Johns and its surrounding area is also present, as is a map for Udall Reservoir. Printed materials are comprised of a Mormon children's catechism, 1855, and a yearbook of the Arizona State Legislature, 1899.
